Gyrotonic® methodology was created by Juliu Horvat in the 1970s. A former ballet dancer who has taught gymnastics, swimming, ballet and yoga, Juliu has created the Pulley Tower around the human body to increase spinal health and core strength.
The pulley tower allows you to work in total freedom while:
- Increasing mobility in the spine focusing on spinal health
- Strengthening your core and abdominals
- Releasing tension in the upper body
- Strengthening your nervous system
- Helping you with co-ordination
- Strengthening and mobilising your joints
Gyrotonic® sessions are scheduled around you as much as possible. We do prefer for you to come in for a free 30 minute screening and consultation first. This will enable us to go through your health and fitness history and to discuss any pathologies you may have. We will also discuss your goals and observe how your body is moving. If you’re currently seeing an Osteopath or Physiotherapist we will need your permission to contact them prior to commencing the Private session.
